Hi, I’m Sarah. I use words and film to tell stories that matter. My professional adventures have taken me from live broadcast and current affairs in Finland and Australia to the humanitarian front line in Afghanistan and Jordan. As a producer, director and journalist, I’ve worked with production houses and broadcasters such as SBS (Australia), The Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yle1), MTV3 (Finland) and Digital Storytellers (Australia), alongside developing my own work.

As a freelance writer and editor for over fifteen years, I’ve been the mind behind the words for global leaders such as KONE, Stora Enso and Konecranes. Editing books for artists and designers and writing for leading Nordic Universities have been my greatest professional joys. I pride myself on being reliable, sensitive and versatile.

Moonlighting as a professional circus trainer, I also co-founded a youth circus for psychosocial support in crisis zones, and am a dedicated advocate for social impact. Yep, I take professional flexibility to the next level.

So, if you’re after content that performs, whether it’s film or text, or you have a bold social impact vision and would benefit from expert advice, get in touch. Based in Wollongong, Australia, I’m always happy to discuss exciting new clients and collaborations that will transport my mind from my endless renovation to-do list and my two beautiful – and intense – young children!
